After School Programs
Every four-month period, The Académie offers a variety of after-school activities, thoughtfully selected based on student interests, family feedback, and developmental needs. Our programs extend learning beyond the classroom while remaining aligned with our educational philosophy.
After School

Programs are led either by members of our teaching team or by qualified external partners, and are designed to complement what students are learning during the school day in a joyful and engaging way.
After-school programs are offered at an additional cost and vary by the four-month period.

At The Académie, we believe that learning French should be engaging, immersive, and accessible to all children. Our after-school enrichment programs are open not only to Académie students but also to children enrolled in other schools throughout the Charlotte area.
Through games, stories, cultural activities, music, art projects, and interactive lessons, students develop confidence and fluency in French while having fun with their peers.
Early Childhood Enrichment Program
Ages 3-5
Designed for our youngest learners, this program introduces children to French through play-based learning, songs, movement, storytelling, and hands-on activities in a nurturing environment.
Schedule: Monday-Friday (Afternoons)
Tuition:

French After-School Programs
Kindergarten
Mondays | 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM
An introduction to French language and culture through games, songs, stories, and creative activities.
Tuition:
- $400 per trimester
- $1,200 per school year
Grades 1-3
Tuesdays | 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM
Students strengthen their French vocabulary, speaking, reading, and comprehension skills through engaging projects and interactive learning.

Grades 4-6
Wednesdays | 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM
A dynamic program focused on communication, cultural exploration, reading, writing, and collaborative activities.

Middle & High School
Thursdays | 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM
Students continue to develop practical French communication skills while exploring francophone cultures, current events, literature, and project-based learning.

Open Enrollment
Our after-school programs welcome students from all schools. No prior French experience is required for beginner groups.
