Making French Immersion More Accessible
We believe every child should have the opportunity to benefit from a bilingual education. Thanks to our partnership with the Alliance Française de Charlotte, we have been able to adjust our tuition fees to make our programs more affordable while maintaining the small class sizes, personalized attention, and academic excellence that define The Académie – French-American School.
The tuition listed doesn’t include lunch, after-school programs, field trips, or holiday camp activities. Families seeking a simpler, all-inclusive option can inquire about our Global Tuition, which bundles additional services for convenience and peace of mind.

Preschool: $9,000 (morning program)
Kindergarten: $16 000 per year(full programs)

One-Time Enrollment Fee (first year only): $500
Tuition deposit: $2000 (required to secure your child’s seat; non-refundable and deducted from overall tuition)

Payment in Full
- Pay the full tuition in one installment via electronic payment before June 30, 2026.
- This option includes a $250 reduction for full-year tuition
- Note: This reduction is not available for families receiving financial assistance and does not apply if tuition is paid by an employer.
Payment in Two Installments
- Pay directly to The Académie in two electronic installments:
- First installment: 50% of total tuition before June 30, 2026
- Second installment: 50% of total tuition before October 1, 2026
Payment in Nine Monthly Installments
- Pay online in nine installments.
- Payments are due on the 1st of each month, starting April 1, 2026 and ending December 1, 2026.
Preschool Attendance Options
Our Kindergarten program offers flexible scheduling to meet family needs.
Mid-Year Enrollment
- Start between December 15 – April 1: 2/3 of the full-year tuition, plus one-time enrollment and application fees
- Start after April 1: 1/3 of the full-year tuition, plus one-time enrollment and application fees
- Prorated tuition must be paid in full before the student’s first day
